Although all at Thornton Lodge only knew Mary for a short period of time she has left us with some wonderful memories and gave us plenty of laughs. Small in statue however big in personality. Mary settled in well and it wasn't long before she let us all know who was boss. Mary will be sadly missed by all. some of the comments from Thornton Lodge staff. ' Mary was a loveable character' ' I remember the time she had us all running round as we couldn't find her and she playing hide and seek' 'The love she had for her husband and family was admirable' ' I remember Mary saying none of the men in here were good enough as she had the best one at home'
